Many Christians cheered for joy when Disney Pixar announced its first ever Christian animation character. But as usual when it …

I believe as the days grow closer to Christs return it’s going to become easier and easier for Christian’s to be deceived. Love discussing topics like this because I believe it helps us exercise discernment and expose wickedness! Hope you enjoyed this and it was edifying!
There is no homosexual love interest at the end of the show, the Umpire actually starts dating one of the players Mom’s. As Christian’s we have to do our research and not spread lies 🤦🏻♂️
Personally, I don’t think topics like being LGBTQ+ or transgender should be portrayed as “darkness.” There are absolutely things that come against it in the bible, but one thing we should never do is force others to fall in line or label what others do as “darkness” or the like. These are deeply personal and sensitive issues for many people—including myself, as someone who identifies as bisexual. I’ve read the Bible and understand the traditional views some people and now what I hold, heck even when I found out about the verses that said it I had hated myself for weeks on end. Coming out to my dad was even worse as I had to deal with the overall fear of never being accepted. I’m still learning and growing in my own journey to be as close to god as possible, despite verses saying as such against my own orientation.
I don’t see LGBTQ+ identities as something inherently negative or evil. That said, I do understand that people have different beliefs. Sometimes, what’s truly dark are the situations that lead people to make hard decisions about their identity. For example, a friend of mine is transgender, not just out of identity but also as a means of protection—trying to avoid the trauma and harm they’ve experienced just for being themselves as a woman.
I believe that in order for others to feel safety in Jesus Christ and God we have to show some empathy for those who are in different situations. You never know what others are going through. Maybe through general conversation you could bring up some things about Jesus christ. If they don’t believe then they don’t believe. But let them know who you believe in. Not forcefully, but maybe as a little bit of a nudge to the right direction.
That scene is basically a mockery of God, "let go and let God"… They're trying to say God isn't real or doesn't have power, and Christians are stupid for trusting Him.
It looks like Satan made this look just "Christian" enough for Christians to let their kids watch. The daughter's rejection of the occult was meant to be a "good sign" for parents, but showing the mother using tarot cards that are shown to supposedly predict the future was a move to get kids okay with the occult. In these last days, Satan is recruiting people to the occult, and this is a FULFILMENT OF PROPHECY from the Book of Revelation, which predicted that in the last days some people will not repent of witchcraft.
Pray for kids and families that they are brought to Jesus and that Satan's power diminishes in Jesus's Name!
At first i thought she was playing to God to but after watching like 2 more times i realized she was praying to her father not God the father bur like her dad the coach
I’d love to know your opinion on the Disney Show Zack and Cody. They include Christian topics specifically one of the characters goes to a Catholic school. Also, in one of the episodes of Girl meets world includes Auggie praying. What do you guys think of these??
Something that makes current Disney even sadder is that Walt Disney himself was a man of faith and portrayed many original characters in Christian themes that have since been erased, such as Snow White kneeling in prayer.
Seems to me the "message" during the batting scene was Lori was submitting to God, she got "beat down" for doing so. Sending a subliminal message that it's not worth it and your going to suffer for doing so.

You should really go back to the Hebrew Bible and look at what David did and who we went and saw
Whats wrong in creating a movie with magic?? That kind of magic is NOT Satanic, in fact, it's the opposite. Not all shows with magic have to be dark.
Guys, don't get OCD over this like I did when I was 14, it was a literal spiritual attack to deceive me (well, what my mum believes).
Hard disagree with you, Taylor 🙂
If you see me making comments, they're just criticism not meant to attack you. I just strongly disagree with you…
Thank you!!! Super helpful 💝

You should watch Superbook it a really amazing show for children that help them learn about God and Jesus ❤
Please pray for world wide revival everyone:), we need all the prayers we can get ❤
This literally how every Christian prays. Asking God to watch over you and influence a chance of success.
The character's journey isn't about devoting life wholly to God, it's to be a good athlete.
She's the average American Christian kid who plays sports, not born in a preacher's household.
It literally isn't that deep, you're just demanding more representation that doesn't serve the story and character.
The average use of prayer was represented, you don't get to persecute others for not being as devout as you are, it's very repellant behavior.

If it is that contradictory and ambiguous then it should be cast out and avoided.

the fact that people can be this delusional is concerning
