In today’s video, we revisit the theology of Jonathan Edwards to confront one of the most offensive truths of the Gospel: sinners do …

  1. Faith comes by hearing andhearing by the word of God. You are presenting your argument arrogantly because you want gain credit from it.. shame on you. Truth bbelong to God alone..

  2. How many denominations are lost in sins and trespasses because of this false doctrine of 'believing' to Receive ?

I was 'Born Again' not by my faith, nor by scripture, or by any preceding idea, notion or condition.
In fact, I had zero knowledge.
God dealt with me, and not I with Him.

I wanted to know Him. Not believe in Him, but KNOW Him.
'Faith' was nowhere, neither was any understanding to the situation.

And it would take many years after the encounter, for me to fully understand what did take place during that Life changing event; My Divine appointment.

"the natural.mind cannot receive the things of God"….
    "they are 'spiritually discerned"….
    "Cannot enter in"..
No name written in the Lamb's book of Life.

But, here is the 'cast in iron' test…
The 'Fruit' that proves the transformation.
The 'Acid' test that only comes from the Holy Spirit, that humans cannot counterfeit.

When one gets 'saved', that 'Grace' that is given, not obtained, is professed by the Holy Spirit, and not by the one who is Redeemed.

This issue of False salvation, by whatever means has swallowed up humanity since the ascention of Christ into the clouds.
"You are saved, by Grace, ( not faith ), and not of yourselves,
( I think, therefore I am ); it IS the Gift of God, and GOD ALONE..!!!!!!

  3. @35:30..show me a sacrament in scripture.

There are ordinances, but not sacraments. There is a difference…no??

Sacraments are orthodox traditions of men, but ordinances are of God.

The main difference between a sacrament and an ordinance in Christianity lies in their theological function: a sacrament (Catholic, Orthodox, some Protestant) is seen as a channel that conveys God's grace, while an ordinance (many Baptist, Anabaptist, evangelical groups) is viewed as an act of obedience commanded by Christ.

Which demonstrates faith rather than conferring grace directly.

  4. Excellent. Thank you. I spent 20 years being told and believing that while Christ died for sinners, reconciliation depended ultimately upon me. I found no peace and no hope in that false “gospel.” Then I heard the truth. My new life in Christ is God’s doing and that even while I was dead in sin and trespasses.

  6. PLOWING THROUGH EDWARDS TOTAL WORKS FOR 18 YEARS AGO… WEEPING THROUGH "RELIGIOUS AFFECTIONS" IN A 200 PAGE MASTER PIECE… STILL CRYING FOR JOY TO HEAR EVERY VIDEO OF THIS MIGHTY MAN OF GOD (MINUS THE WEIRD TEACHING OF BABY BAPTISM & CRAZY COMMUNION WITH THE RCC INVENTED CUP AND BREAD) !!

  7. To the hosts.

Don't know if you were aware that THESE JEWELS of videos, are tainted by raunchy commercials about erections and unGODLY distractions.

I know there are videos that don't have commercials like Grace To You with John MacArthur and several others.

  8. God is love. Christ died for all. Predestination to damnation is not biblical. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling introduces the element of human response to divine prompting. If God is love God loves all and God prompts all, it is our choice whether to respond to His prompting. God predestinates the means to salvation, not the end, which is our choice. St. Paul teaches by way of antinomies and their synthesis at a higher level of understanding of divine purposes, or dialectical reasoning. False doctrines are derived by grasping at either end of the antinomy instead of his final synthesis. Man cannot be regenerated against his will, because man is made in the image of God and therefore has freedom of choice.

  9. Shut up líer
    We are All dead sinners
To be save is very easy
    It s All about Jesus
Jesus already paid All our sins.
    It is finished
    And after salvation
We still sin with our body of sin
But our soul is santified by the perfect blood of Jesus
You re preaching a fake gospel
The nano second we believe in Jesus and trust in his sacrifícial death and resurrection finish work of redemption we are save Forever sealed and batized into the body of Crist impossíble to lose salvation

  10. Early on in my Christian walk I attended a name it and claim it church, but I remember not being drawn into: the merchandise, the ' Christian's music, Christian rap or rock, and wanting to babble as in pretending to talk In tongues. I have acknowledged that I did get very good at sounding like a Christian because the charasmatic movement teaches you to do so. As I truly yearned for God's love and truth I remember telling a former colleague, associated with that type of worship that I was tired of merely sounding like a Christian. That person got up and left the table. I get convicted of minor and great sins I have allowed into my life. Also, and very important for the race I'm running: I'm less and less reliant on some sort of emotional experience.

  11. So powerful. It can be so easy to “justify” the “lesser” sins which are in fact not lesser at all. Like over consumption, being glued to the phone, valuing the things of this world. And there begins the separation from God. It’s terrifying to think that you could be so sure of your salvation but that you were deceived the entire time.

  12. This is far from the truth. Death in the scriptures never means cessation or inability to believe. Death always means separation. Physical death is when the soul separates from the body. Spiritual death is being separated from God. We're born in this state.
This fact demolishes the calvinist's belief that regeneration must come before belief because dead people can't believe.
Ephesians 1:13-14…And you also were included in Christ WHEN you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. HAVING BELIEVED, (the instant you believed) you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession.

  13. Death never means cessation or inability in scripture. It always means separation.
Adam sinned but didn't die physically immediately but he did die eventually because he had died spiritually. Sin brought seperation… Adam and Eve hid. Their glory had gone but God came after them and clothed them.
Dead in trespasses and sin simply means no relationship with a holy God. So why would God call sinners to believe if they couldn't? The instant the Ephesian people believed after hearing the word of truth, the gospel of their salvation, in that moment they were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit by which they were born again.
When error is taught, it's not long before further error is taught, all the time moving away from the truth. This is what's happened to Calvinists until at the end, because of their endless list of contradictions, they have to keep altering the scriptures to suit their theology.

  14. Again, the Calvinists fatal error is revealed. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. This means that sinners can hear God's word. The Holy Spirit has been sent into this world to convict the unsaved of sin, righteousness and judgement and it is He who opens the eyes of the blind and the hearts of those dead in sin. From this point of conviction, sinners can receive Christ. Being dead in trespasses and sin does not mean people cannot hear and then believe. Deadness is about being separated from God. No communion, no fellowship, no relationship. This is why Jesus came, to reconcile sinners to God, to give His life a ransom. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. You also, having believed the gospel of your salvation were sealed by the promised Holy Spirit who is a guarantee of your inheritance…HAVING BELIEVED YOU WERE SEALED… This is the order. Christ's ownership of the saved sinner happens after they've believed. Although none seek after God naturally, they can and do by the promptings of the Spirit.
Dead does not mean totally unable to respond for God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. He would have all to be saved but sinners must accept the saviour.
