  1. Not targeting Tim BTW
Where was the sympathy for his victims? "Oh not Bishop Eddie, you can't say that about Bishop Eddie, don't touch god's anointed". You religious clowns, he touched 6 kids and ruined their lives and never really apologised for doing it so he can piss off to where ever he's going. Putting your penis in a little kid's bum should be off limits, did he care? Condolences to the lives of those 6 boys because it was swept under the rug, imagine the lives they have to live, imagine what they are going through today. Sorry, not sorry. He had loved ones though I hope they can make it through this, they don't deserve to pay for his actions.

  2. generation X has spoken… (1965-1981)
moral of the story is, church folk are hypocrites by default and they contradict themselves every other sentence!
So our generation will be VERY VOCAL about it , while we ( slowly but surely) seperate from the so called traditional black christian church!!!!!!!!

  3. Though Eddie did not verbally address the obvious, I feel like he used non-verbal language to ‘show his repentance’, if it can be called that. There are ARVs that are available today to AIDS victims even in developing nations. People all over the world who are living with AIDS are now able to live longer because of these drugs. Even AIDS related cancers like Kaposi Sarcoma can be handled by these drugs (or at least have their effects on the body stemmed).

The late Eddie Long was obviously a very wealthy man. In addition, he was living in a ‘First World Nation’, where he could readily procure ARVs, along with the latest drugs to deal with the virus. Just from looking at his shockingly rapid decline over a short period of time, one can almost see that he chose not to use the available drugs.

Maybe it was a kind of ‘penance’ or something for what he had done to those boys. I believe that in the end, when he was staring death in the face, he repented for what he had done and was reconciled to his Creator. May he rest in peace.

  4. Eddie Long was a word of faith preacher who taught that if you got sick it was because you were a sinner. These word of faith preachers would claim all you needed to be cured was faith, no doctors. Now he's died apparently from cancer.

  5. You, Mike, Jimmy, and Kyle sure do have a lot of sell outs and haters trolling your smartness. Most people do not go cruising non stop around sites they do not like. Keep doing what you do and teach these fools a thing or two. Keep doing the USA Patriot work you guys do so well!!!

  6. The Bishop had several teachable lessons he could have provided to the world. Instead he choose to go down the path of not being truthful. Deeds and actions speak louder than words. Excellent commentary Tim.

  7. This nigga died of AIDS. His very wealthy people paid the media to put out the cancer story to cover it up. Just like they did with Luther Vandross. I'm glad he's gone, so he won;t be able to take advantage of God's people (God's stupid gullible people) any longer.

  8. I agree that we should not wish ill in this case. I will say that while his weight loss is consistent with HIV/AIDS, this is unusual for someone with his money. The weight loss should not have been this aggressive if treated. Look at Magic Johnson, stable on medication for decades now. But who knows. Each HIV strain responds differently to medications. Wow.
