No, at my camp, they check you. They make sure you don’t have a phone also it’s in the middle of nowhere so you have no reception so there’s no point in bringing a phone anyways
Anytime I go to camp I enjoy when they take our phones away. It allows us to focus more on God and spend more time in his word without distractions, and lets us have actual conversations and strengthen bonds with friends instead of just playing on phones the whole time.
Im soooo pumped ive been watching summer camp media and nothing but that for the past 3 days to hype myself up, im going in 25 days from now for a month
we aren’t allowed to have our phones but i’m sneaking mine just in case there’s an emergency or something. i won’t use it at all this trip though because it’s nice to be disconnected from social media, even if it is only for 5 days.
no point at mine because its quite literally in the middle of nowhere with no internet signal makes me sad though because I'm just tryna keep up w/ my Duolingo lessons
Honestly can't relate. Our leaders trusted that we wouldn't abuse any phone privileges we did have so we could keep them on us. I'd be so sad if we couldn't have our phones for at least pictures. Although there was zero service like 90% of the time so it was basically just a clock and camera ❤
They take our phones! I was scared at first, but I think it’s fine now, I only got to go 2 years ago, but I hope to go in the summer again, which I have to wait another school year to end, but I absolutely loved church camp! It was my favorite ever, with or without phones
I am so excited for camp! I am going on July 3-8
So true!!😂
They take our phones away 😢
My camp is in may
Me and my bff have to have ours for medical reasons

my camp does night checks and if you get caught with a phone they take it away

My church camp took our phones away, which i think is pretty necessary for less distractions lol
I honestly don't think that happens but that's just my opinion 😊

Unless you have no service 😅

At my church camp, they tried to take our phones away and most people turn them in, but I just say I don’t have mine😊
