  1. this is a bad movie, it reminds of time in my life I was living the same life Harvey leaves , my father would always be drunk and smoking with his friends, he never care for his wife and kids, sometimes we would go hungry for days but we never let him put us down to his level. I went to school from there found employment , during that time I went back to complete my diploma in business studies. I then moved away from home to live in the town, where my neighbour was a white man and I lived there for over 10 years, took my son to a private school and being a single mother, I believe in life we have choices and either it's a bad one or a good one and it's the end of the world. Harvey sound like he was a good man but his father was the same as mine

  2. This to me was a very good movie , shows how God came through for one that thought he wasn't worthy. Would have loved to seen the wedding though and the father find salvation. Maybe a sequel to this one !

  3. I have a question. I can watch a good movie that doesn't proclaim to even be a Christian movie, yet has no drinking or bad language. Why do most so called "Christian" movies always seem to have drinking for sure and usually both??? Why do you think its necessary?? It turns me off to a movie, and I'm sure it does any true Christian. Its exactly why we look for a "Christian" movie. Why spoil a perfectly good movie otherwise?? If you can't get the point across without these, then something is seriously wrong. A Christian movie is expected to be different, NOT like the world!
