This is a good description of the Basic Woe of Man. That separation from the Person of God to "things". All "these things" are mirages so tantalizing that they cannot satisfy the soul made in the image of God. How many are there of the children who have been separated from the Glory of His Person- that death in Genesis 2:17. Man like sheep has gone astray (Isaiah 55:6). But the Son of God, the Son of Man came for this purpose to restore us back to the Holy Father on the magnanimous account of His Grace and Truth.
