I didn't care for the pastor at all & I don't like him, he stirred anger feelings in me when he spoke. He was totally wrong, in how he dealt with abortion & he was like a bad shepherd – leading the sheep astray. This was a good movie & it's based on a true story. I wanted to say thank you, for sharing & caption.
I understand why others point out the age of the actress in this movie, but this movie is so much more than that. It’s the message of God's forgiveness, and even though you sin and go against Him, He still loves you and forgives you. As long as we understand that, the message is received. Jesus died for all our sins, not just those we do before we accept Jesus Christ and pray for forgiveness. No, He is a patient, loving, and forgiving Father, and He knows we are not perfect. He knows we will still make mistakes, and yet He still loves us. No matter what we do, He will forgive us if we ask and, hopefully, learn from our mistakes, then His arms are forever open.
It’s almost like being on a diet because we are unwell. Some days we manage, knowing the consequences of eating healthy, but sometimes we cheat and hide around a corner and eat a piece of cake that we know is not good for our health. We are always making mistakes and not sticking to the diet. It’s human nature that we will slip up, but all our Father needs is our unconditional love – that we follow right from wrong, and when we slip, He will always forgive us because we are made in His image, and because He made us, He knows our weakness. He is not a dictator, but a loving, kind, compassionate Father who wants to help guide us on a path that is healthy and faithful to Him. When we see children at a nativity they play Joseph and Mary even though they are not adults. We don’t think about that only that they conveyed the message. We can do this with the woman in the movie…
Dear God, I confess that I have judged when it was never my place to judge. Please forgive me for my sins, and help those who I have hurt to forgive me. Thank You Jesus for the price You have paid for me, I am grateful and I appreciate You Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.
The first pastor was very much off the mark!! Yes we need to fight against abortion by getting the truth about it out there and with our votes on election day by voting in those who are against it and can help to pass laws protecting the unborn. Most of the girls that get abortions are pressured into it by their families or their boyfriends, or because they feel so alone and no way out. They do not know about the mental and emotional issues that come with it and the hole it leaves. They may also ruin their chance of ever having another child. That is why I love the organization Love Life. They not only talk to the girls and women with love and care, but they also provide options. They will provide people to talk to and help you mentally and emotionally if you choose to adopt your child out and if you decide to keep it, they provide help by having people who are willing to help with necessities (even financial needs) for the baby and even a place if needed because the family will not accept it, as well as someone to talk to for support. They also provide counseling and support for those who did go ahead with the abortion.
Oh this was such ab excellent; marvelous & inspirational movie. Yes there are many women out there who are having abortions which is murder and very sad. And many women need to minister to young ladies about this sin & how to avoid such things, for fornication is a sin etc etc.
I am at 1:10:20 of the ,movie and the preacher, the boys father is tearing into him after demanding "I need aplate" from his wife. if a preacher addressed me in tis manner I would slap his ugly puss. Miserable sod!
Some so called pastors will be judged more harshley then others because their teachers of the faith. The bible says that. Abortion is muder, but anyone who does this; the only judge is Jesus christ. There is forgiveness and redemption with Jesus christ. Father God I pray with the wholly spirit for all the lost and decived in Jesus mighty name, Amen!
The church does things that God never intended and calls it "his work." Sensationalism and hatred is not of God. Inciting riots and teaching kids to be unkind is not godly. I left the church for doing things out of character for believers. The church need to repent and preach love and mercy and forgiveness, not angry sermons.
That pastor in the beginning is everything that gives religion a bad name. His theology and use of the bible is way off. I hope there are better things ahead or that he converts, that poor little boy he has it right – except he thinks our enemies are humans, thats not the case. We are to love the sinner and hate the sin. It's a bit confusing that the woman is middle aged and acts like a child with her mom – I do think she is supposed to be a teen. I might watch a bit more and see otherwise I will give it a miss
I've watched several of these movies now. What a very small cast of people. And such dark movies. I get the point, you want to show life is messy sometimes and hard. But there is typically less than five minutes of happy in any of them. I just find them dark and depressing and don't ever see the wonderful glorious side of God. Just weird.

Forgiving yourself is harder to do when you deeply hurt and cause distrust to your adult son. We must forgive others and forgive ourselves.

Your right im stuck in fight or flight it caused fybromyalgia I hurt all the time cant enjoy life 😪 im giving it to God ive asked him millions to heal me but I believe this word was for me tonight . Ive had alot of trauma abusive relationships always rejected never had mych of a family life I have 2 sons they never check on me God takes care of me hes provided every time but im tired im tired of this work ive done for yrs and pretending everything is ok financial is so stressful every month its like where will tge money come from ? God please come through again for me . I am just tired of being stuck i pray for healing restoration provision miracle after miracle in Jesus Name psalms 23
I can't even get past the hateful "pastor". This is the problem with most of the church & the world wants nothing to do with God if those who follow Him are so ugly, mean, hateful, unforgiving. He even treated is son with contempt who was absolutely right. God is full of love & mercy. Jesus loved us while we were yet sinners. We all fail & come short & need forgiveness continually. Jesus took our sin & it was placed upon Himself because He loved us before we knew Him. He ate with sinners, talked with them & the only ones He called vipers & white washed tombs were the Religious Scribes & Pharisees who only looked for ways to condemn the people. When we ask Him to forgive us, receive Jesus as LORD, stop our willful sinful ife & live by His Word as best we can, there is now no condemnation, no accusing voice against us.
Unless we are prepared to help young woman in there pregnancy then we have no right to judge any of them .Standing against abortion is all good and well but unless we love them we dont display the love of Jesus 😢

A couple of the actors aren't that great, but the storyline is good. Very believable and worth watching.
