No no. That's out on a limb. As a person grows in holiness they are more specific with their word choice. More intentional. Peter was trying to lay emphasis on his words where the Bible says not to swear to make your speech more emphatic or believable, let your yes be yes and your no be no.
Theres plenty of swearing in the scripture. Its just been churched up a bit. Some of the meanings are funny to me. Elijah mocked the prophets of baal. I think real people in real situations will sometimes let some words slip. I think in extreme situations, different words may be called for. Im not saying its right or its ok, but I do think that we shouldn't judge others, and real life character outweighs a few cuss words. If you dont think we all can have things that bother God, that is a delusion. God could be more happy with an honest man thst cusses than a fake that doesn't. Religious people can be brutal. That guy should go easy on snap vows. God hears words and sees hearts. You can purpose to honor God without jumping into vows. Who are we trying to impress. God sees it all anyway.

I'll never claim to be perfect but the instant I got saved on 12 March 06 God must've taken the ability to cuss away from me. It's pretty amazing. I used to make sailors blush with my rough talk daily. MF this and GD that. Awful! Thought it was cute. Thought it made me a man. Almost 20 years and I've absolutely not uttered a cuss word. I'm kinda proud that my wife and grown children have never heard me cuss. Or drink and smoke. Thank you Lord. I know I still need more work but I ain't went back the other way.

He clearly uses foul language himself. Lots of scriptures tell us to control our tongue in that way. If you don't know them you're not reading your Bible

The Bible says, not to curse someone, but to use language that builds others up, right? So how is it unbiblical to say to a friend, "You are a damn fine driver" or "That was one hell of an excellent presentation"? That's building people up positively, right? I think cussing is only a sin if it is used to hurt or demean others.
