  2. "And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out from the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." Rev. 22:19

I think this points to the fact a person's part can be taken out of the book of life.

I also think you can only take out from what was originally a part of a thing.

In Rev. 3:16 too, Bible says, "so then, because thou art lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, i will spue thee out of my mouth."

A saved Christian should essentially hold their salvation and God's word sacred, not take them for granted and be filled with prayers and watchfulness.

  3. "For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning." (2 Pet. 2:20)

I also think this means if you’ve been saved before, don't be entangled again. Cleave to Christ! A person cannot perpetually continue in sin and claim to be a Christian.

Thankfully, if we believe, God is able to not just forgive sin, but remove the nature of sin in us and give us His.

    May God help us, amen.

  5. I have a brother that hate when you pray that we receive Grace to finish well, praying that our light not turn to darkness just as Jesus told his disciples. Our leader led us to Pray that the Lord take away whatsoever will make us bring shame to the gospel (like what will make people still question if we are saved or not),when it was his turn to close the meeting he has to mention it saying Christ has done the finishing work that whosoever is feeling a shame should have that in their mind and alot.

My question is, is it bad to Pray such Prayer,Sir?

During my session that faithful day,I was led that we should pray that God help us to do more, that we won't know a better yesterday and the next thing he will do was to type that the next minister should come up when I was not even do with my session because I ask us to pray not to know a better yesterday 🤷.

I'm really grateful for this teaching and it's timely because the stuff really hit me hard that got me to asking questions, alot of questions.

So because Jesus has done all for us doesn't mean we should pray for grace to finish well and finish strong, Sir?
    God bless you

  6. My takeout:
Salvation is a gift from God and we recieve it by faith.
Hence, the moment we stop believing in Jesus as the Son of God, we loose that gift.
Why? Jesus said we should take up our cross daily and follow Him.
Meaning the moment we stop believing, we are cut of.
Example, a christian who believed in Jesus as the son of God and that God has raised Him from the death but now converts to Islam and now believes Jesus is not God's son but a mere prophet and in Mohammed as the final prophet has automatically lost his or her salvation but can be saved again if he or she confesses Jesus again.
God bless you,Sir and our ted sisters🙏
