That’s absolutely a great tip. I found is very useful to have two different versions one is comfortable with specially as English is my second language and I do read in English. Thanks for sharing!
Please do a clarification type video on the Bible you use and the markers you use… I saw some “no bleed” markers on Amazon but not sure what to buy? Thx lots
What you do with ESV and NLT, is what I do with NKJV and NLT, Ashley. English is my second language so seeing someone who has English as their first language, do this too is actually so cool.😊
KJV 12 And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren. ESV 12 He shall be a wild donkey of a man, his hand against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he shall dwell over against all his kinsmen." NLT 12 This son of yours will be a wild man, as untamed as a wild donkey! He will raise his fist against everyone, and everyone will be against him. Yes, he will live in open hostility against all his relatives.” MSG 12 He'll be a bucking bronco of a man, a real fighter, fighting and being fought, Always stirring up trouble, always at odds with his family." CSB 12 This man will be [like] a wild ass. His hand will be against everyone, and everyone's hand will be against him; he will live at odds with all his brothers.
# But the correct translation is this :
( He lives as a good man, and his hand is to everyone, and the hand of everyone is through him, and he lives with the children of all his brothers )
I am still confused as to why resuming the word of God is valid. In the bible it says not to modify its word. I copy verses that i like or that i want to study deeper but even highlighting makes me wonder if I'm ignoring the rest. It can get so confusing 😢
Excellent study tip. I believe this is what God would want=open ourselves for God to Spirituality minister us. There’s a practical side why we should seek God’s wisdom. Are all commissioned to translate fiercely dedicated to accuracy? No, not because someone said so. Owning a Bible that you can’t follow a sermon, bible study or isolated scripture of the day is how most of us find out.
I have a Kings James study version but need a magnifying glass because the book printer’s idea of larger print isn’t. I can’t read anything even the tabs. Abundance of study references a lot I don’t understand. If I want to know what our Pastors had to learn (deep dive Theology class) I go looking for the Doctors out there willing to post their Bible studies or answer tough questions. After seeing it all mapped out, I realize the Bible can engage a physicist as easy as a baby Christian. It’s amazing how much information we miss.
Studying the Holy Bible through music can be beneficial! The album 'Matthew 24' is now available. Let those who have ears listen to what the Spirit is saying to the church.
Wow, came across this today on the 30th of April, 2025 this helps so much will share with my teen boy hopefully he loves this kind of studying the bible from Zambia

Which Bible app do you use?
You go girl!!❤
ESV supports Calvinism/predestination, and I thought you were Catholic who believe in free will.
What bible do you use
Or just use a respected Bible commentary if you don’t understand the passage
Amen
No NLT 👎👎 KJV, NKJV, ESV yes
I need
I got a Bible for my birthday! I asked for one and then I got one!♥️

The bible translation is wrong. I can show you the correct translation of the Old Testament. You will be shocked
A quick example for you :
Genesis 16:12
# Existing English translations say this :
KJV
12 And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.
ESV
12 He shall be a wild donkey of a man, his hand against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he shall dwell over against all his kinsmen."
NLT
12 This son of yours will be a wild man, as untamed as a wild donkey! He will raise his fist against everyone, and everyone will be against him. Yes, he will live in open hostility against all his relatives.”
MSG
12 He'll be a bucking bronco of a man, a real fighter, fighting and being fought, Always stirring up trouble, always at odds with his family."
CSB
12 This man will be [like] a wild ass. His hand will be against everyone, and everyone's hand will be against him; he will live at odds with all his brothers.
# But the correct translation is this :
( He lives as a good man, and his hand is to everyone, and the hand of everyone is through him, and he lives with the children of all his brothers )
This is a word-for-word translation of the text
Is it Isaiah 5 or 50?
This is great, thank you!
