I like the old songs but some of the information is wrong. On the old Rugged cross a song that is renown it states that Jesus was slain. Yet in scripture Jesus plainly says

make this clear, Jesus speaks directly, in first-person language: “I
lay down my life for the sheep” (John 10:15). He talks directly about
his own life and death: “For this reason the Father loves me, because I
lay down my life in order to take it up again.
Its great to sing songs and I love to but please be aware of what your buying into. Question what you hear and affirm its truth in scripture and Gods leading by his holy Spirit.Not trying to be critical just things that I have noticed.
