Actually, the IRL Maria from the sound of music came to church because it meant she could listen to music at the services. (She was poor and couldn’t otherwise afford it)
So tru tho… I am agnostic but I wonder how people find faith, when I can barely find my glasess. And the only hope I have is not to die on my way to uni, but if it happens I won't complain😩✋ I'm ready!
Protestant church? Sure, cringy pop songs. Catholic Church and Ortodoxh? Yeah I'm pretty sure someone did it just for the music, cause they are beautiful whetere you are religious or not. Listen to Tchaikovsky Hymn of the Cherubim and tell me if you don't wanna convert xD
I beg to differ music is a huge part of converting people. The music is just used to amplify the message. So it's less about the song and more about the message within that convinces you. But without the delivery it's just words.
I’m not a Christian, but hillsong do some pretty epic Christmas song performances
What if they became Orthodox Christian? Have you heard chant? That's some ethereal music right there
I'm a Atheist but one of my favourite songs is called 'creatures' and it's a Christian song
The lifetime atheist Pink Floyd fan leaving the chat.

Don't you insult Steven Curtis Chapman, that was the music of my childhood lmao
I love Taylor, but she wrong. This is like half the plot to Amadeus! 😂
There’s nothing wrong with finding faints as a grown up. I like her until now. Sad comedian
I'm a Christian. Yes. Christian music is… less than top quality
Bring a Christian isn't easy.
Yeah all the oppression and rules tend to break someone's psyche down pretty quickly.
I was listening to some SCC (Steven Curtis Chapman) today! He's my favorite! 😊
Lead guitarist of Korn became a Christian… his book, 'Save Me From Myself' is hands down the most powerful book I have ever read…
I tried to crack a smile but this is simply not funny at all.
Gospel music goes so hard faith or not

Steven Curtis Chapman – that's such a Christian musician name lol.
My partner stayed in the church for a lot longer than she would have because she was in the music group.
Year 1: known as “in the glow”
I love this joke bc you know Taylor went to white church
Kirk Franklin will have you in them pews!!
Christian, maybe not, but specifically Catholic music? There's a reason Enigma got so popular in there 90s by sampling Gregorian chant…
I don't think anyone would convert because of MxPx. They're good, but not that good.
Christain music is actually better then main stream music lately
"It's not easy."
Yeah, indoctrination works best on children.

I think the music is really good actually
From a classical music standpoint, that kind of christian music could get me into the religion
I haven't seen a Taylor stand up that wasn't top notch 😂 love her

This person took "music as religion"too serious

She clearly hasn’t heard Steven Curtis Chapman’s ‘it’s all about love’
Not gonna start going to church any time soon….but I do love some Steven Curtis Chapman. Lol. It’s true
gospel music is awesome 🤘
Obviously hasn’t heard of Bethel music, Hillsong, elevation. Guarantee that music has converted thousands
Skillet is a pretty good one
But music n art n architecture are the only things I like about any of these religions…
I became a Christian for the Gregorian Chants. 🤣
