Yes, we always been a great assest to humanity and society because our ancestors passed down the creative genes so we can help society. Congratulations, to Dr. Vivien Thomas and Dr. Alfred Blalock for their great contributions on performing the first Blue Baby heart surgery. They as given hope and save the lives of thousands of people all over the world with their heart surgery discoveries. They both made history in the making and that is great achievement.
😢I'm crying Tears of joy in seeing yet another part of history that was hidden, but has been brought into the light of day! I'm grateful! This is a piece of history for us all to honor and learn more about! I'm so proud to be an African American! I just wish history would have made it possible for Dr. Thomas to have been allowed to go to medical school! I can only imagine what more he might have accomplished! I'm so glad his story was told. I hope his story and others like it will one day be a part of global education everywhere! Thank you so much, to everyone involved and bringing this to story life! It's obvious to have compassion for Dr. Thomas. I believe Dr. Blalock was a good man, and Dr. Thomas would not have completed his mission on Earth without Dr. Blalock. They were soul mates and they loved each other. This was their journey. It's not about recognition. It was about saving lives. God saw fit to exalt Dr. Thomas when the time was perfect and profound. Bless them both. They couldn't have done anything without each other.

Sad to see Blalock says one thing to Vivian and another to his white friends because he doesn't want to give him any sort of credit for his success. White people have consistently put black people in inferior positions, and then become surprised when black people excel. The same God that gave you your brain gave all other races. Dont be surprised when God gifts a man that you thought was inferior. Many things have been stolen from black people, their effort, money, recognition, and dignity. Dr Vivian's work is remarkable ❤
When God finishes with what was done and why HE allowed it. We shall continue to suffer as a nation of people who refuse to accept the truth. God blessed America the place of HIS beloves. There is neither Greek nor ….. Only for God's Glory!
What a beautiful movie!😢I was so angry through most of it, the injustices done were heartbreaking. It was so sad it took so long, but at last he was given his place of honor, he was truly a gifted man!
