It's a lovely movie. I don't think i could've been brave as Hannah to be able to keep the child. I'm glad she did. Indeed, all things work together for the GOOD of those who love GOD and are called according to his PURPOSE. HANNAH IS A GREAT MOM WHO TAUGHT HER CHILD TO BELIEVE IN GOD. As long as we trust him , we would know he is working out the GOOD EVEN WHEN WE DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT HE IS DOING. HANNAH DIDN'T ALLOW HER PAIN TO BE THE REASON SHE LOOSES SIGHT OF GOD RATHER SHE ALLOWED HER PAIN TO BE THE REASON SHE TRUSTS GOD EVEN MORE AND TO LEAN ON HIM.
Although I have had trouble seeing that a girl getting pregnant by a rapist is a blessing , I can see how the baby easily can be a true blessing if allowed to be born. I know of other victims who didn't get an abortion. Some kept their babies and others gave their babies up for adoption. I do not judge any girl who chooses abortion. After all it is her choice and her body. Problem is why abortion it can lead to long term effects of a super strong guilty feeling that can so easily bring on dark depression. A girl that chooses to keep her baby is a strong young lady. I just hope those who do keep their baby with allow the pain to be the reason they lean on God to strength and the best support system there is. Hannah chose that path. It did help that he already knew God and loved Him. And the little girl , oh my goodness she is adorable. Jonas is the one who is missing out big time.
Hannah did the right thing and I donโt think she ever once looked at her her beautiful daughter and thought she made a mistake or thought about the rape when she looked into her face. ๐โค๏ธ

This film really blessed me. My eldest daughter was a result of an abusive partner that raped me (though not the time I fell pregnant) funnily enough my daughter is mixed race too. Everyone told me to abort and it was before I came to faith. God was so with me even then. I couldn't. My daughter is now 8 and an absolute blessing in my life. I'm a single mum to now my 2 daughters and it's tough but now I'm in faith boy do I see God come through for us. This film made me realise despite circumstances the life Gods gifted me to steward and my babies lives are his blessings.
I wasn't sure how all of this was going to work out. Pregnancy from rape is usually hard to deal with. Her husband divorced her, but she held on and that daughter was born! Much better that having her aborted before she was born. I can understand how her husband would feel taking care of a daughter who wasn't biologically his. In the end it seemed to work out for the mother and her daughter!
What he did jonas is the Wright thing as man is not easy to stay all remember what happen to your wife and why you don't say Hi's wife prefer children instead of her husband
