I hate to hear of a mama dying and leaving a child. But I was 55 years old when my mama died and it hurts just as bad. My brother was a little boy when our daddy died. I was 21 years old. It's terrible when you lose both of your parents. I don't care how old you are.
The boy was so hurt losing his mother at such a young age and being left with a father he hardly knew. It hurts real bad to lose your mother at any age, but to lose her at a young age is probably the worse time of all as your whole life and security just seems to fall apart. It makes you think just how valuable life really is, and that we should love our parents and each other as long as we have them. We never know when they will leave us for good. I loved this movie as it speaks volumes about life and love.
Poor boy. Too bad the mother and father communicated his illness better with the boy. He was left in the dark. Glad the father and son were ok in the end.
