The church is not a replacement for the Jews. That’s replacement theology that is not pleasing to God. The point made can be misleading so if a statement needed to be made it needed to be clear. I’m a filmmaker and I write scripts I can tell this whole movie was to make that point at 36:35. But I’m unsure exactly what the point was. If it supports replacement or not. As a Christian since 1994 led by God, I will point out we are not to walk in the shoes of the Jews but to walk with them. We are together two trumpets as Moses was commanded to make. There was nothing about God in that movie, no lessons. That's why i love kendrick bt movies. This was a waste of time. And i say that in a good christian way.

His requirements for you is that you accept Him, love Him and keep ALL of His Ten Commandments in return so that you can be saved from hell and eternal death before it's too late, that you can live forever. (John 14 verse 15), (Revelation 22 verse 14), (Exodus 20 verse 1 to 17) Read from a King James Version Bible, because they have change words in many of the other Bibles.
You hear it all too often: "It's complicated." NO! Life is not complicated, people make it complicated. Why? Never try to be someone you're not. Stay true to yourself. These unrealistic over the top "comedies" are so old. I prefer subtle British humor.
I had high hopes for this film as I enjoyed the lead actor’s (Robert Amaya) performance in the film “Courageous.” However, I switched it off once he disguised himself as an old man. He’s basically breaking the commandment “thou shalt not lie” to deceive someone – but many say, “Who cares! It’s comedy and he meant no harm! Don’t be so legalistic!” Would Jesus Christ condone this worldly Christian film? No! I am shocked to see Christians praising this “Christian” movie.
