Costume department did a good job. The oufits look credibly worn, not like they were fresh pressed from the laundry. That's an instant turn off for me in any costumed drama.

There's a movie with James Faulkner starring as the apostle Paul. Excellent movie if someone's looking for a good movie. I found it to be pretty close to the scriptures. Not every movie will be absolutely perfect but as long as their doctrine is not off and you know the difference there's no harm.
