God is so graceful, he waits 10 years in the glory of heaven surrounded by the joy's of his being. Nothing touches God, no evil, no work, no sorrow, no regret or pain. And he looks at this girl going trough hell day after day after day and he just does nothing for her for 10-20 years, even dough it would take less than snapping his finger. Now after 20 years of her being suicidal knowing nothing but pain regret and shame, God finally decides I will help her. That is the mercy and love of God or how others would put it his masochistic nature. He requires all these works of people while nothing touches Him. Truly just and kind God. He just randomly decides to help long long overdue and he requires their praise and worship.
