Some of these comments condemn the abortion. I know that abortion takes away a life, and that Christians must speak out against it. Many confused women believe their own freedom has priority over what they’re told is only a clump of cells. Some of these girls and women are rebellious, yet naive and have no understanding of the meaning of Christian marriage and family life. Instead of our harsh judgment they need truth spoken lovingly. As they mature, the Holy Spirit may stir around in their hearts and urge them to repent. When the realization of their awful sin finally hits them they will yearn for the baby they didn’t want. I believe the sins we commit in ignorance can be forgiven if we truly surrender ourselves to Jesus.
What a beautiful movie! The fingerprints of God are all over it! So well done. The very foundation of the church – the body of Christ – should be about forgiveness and restoration!
Well, at least he recalled his unfaithfulness and that she forgave him almost immediately. In a lot of cases, people look at how they're betrayed, forgetting that they also have wronged the very same person and expected forgiveness. I'm glad he put pride aside and listened..👂
This true story depicts what it means to be truly born again and then being transformed by the work of the Holy Spirit. Before the affair, she was a carnal Christian. The brokenness of the failing marriage led her to the end of herself. She had childhood wounds that led to her own sins. This is what scripture reminds us not to let other’s sin against us fall into sin. She took accountability, repented and asked God to be her Lord, where before she admitted dependence upon her husband for her emotional needs, which puts pressure on any relationship. Once she was born again, He started to live in her, instead of her trying to live the Christian life in her own strength. The abortion was also PRE-Christ. Once truly born again, she was forgiven of that sin, the affair, everything. She was clean and made new. Same with him… he came to the end of himself after his time in New Orleans. He repented and asked God to be his Lord and he let him. It’s simple. We complicate it. I too was a carnal Christian for 50 years! Thank God his kindness led me to repentance, to posture my heart to receive His transformative grace.
