An amazing and beautiful story. But: why are there such bad mistakes in the details which are so very obvious and noticable and could so easily been avoided? Wouldn`t have cost more money or time. They go into the wood to get a real beautiful Christmas tree … and the very next moment they are back home in the livingroom decorating a false plastic tree?? Why??
That the ballet training they created has nothing to do with what happens in real ballet training – okay. Maybe there wasn`t a professional advisor present for every scene. But that "Nutcracker Clara" gets her stage makeup at home?? and not in the theatre and from professional makaup artists who know the light conditions of that stage and scenes and how a professional makeup has to be for her role – where in this world does it work like this? Children and teens who are dancing in professional productions are never doing their stage makeup at home, there are makepup artists in theatre who care for it professionally. And they NEVER have their costumes at home and come to the theatre fully dressed, costume, false hair, mustaches, props and everything stay at the theatre and are cleaned and stored there very properly and neatly all the time. It is to make sure that NOTHING can happen to it until it is used again for the play, you cannot soil or tear it nor can you lose or forget it somewhere. That `s why costumes and hair are NEVER given in the artist`s hands to take them home. I am sure also in USA they know that you never come to your performance with ready homemade makeup and fully dressed and hair readily styled or with wig. Why did they decide to let her drive to her performance in that "stage-ready" state? It would not have been more time, money of effort to do it right and authentic. What they showed would have worked for an unprofessional school play but not for a professional theatre performance. Maybe they thought it would be nice for the people who watch the film if they see her fully prepaired and ready walking out of her home, but who shall believe this? Pity that there are these unrealistic mistakes all through the film.
This movie learns a significant message, whether you want by your heart , just possess it and keep continuing, trusting on yourself. Success will definitely come one day
There were no black dancers up until now 1:05:00, and the ones to speak the discouraging words to 'Hope' are an Asian and a black girl! Speaks a lot about the producers of the movie!
Beautiful movie and when you put your faith, passion, love into something you truly love you can accomplish anything ❤❤❤❤ my parents guided me and supported me through everything.. ❤❤ my cheerleading, gymnastics, track, taekwondo , dance and piano lessons soccer and volleyball and to this day I am grateful for all the opportunities my parents gave to me… Except I wasn’t that good playing hockey lol
Such a beautiful determination she has, very rare although she had her parents support it is also amazing to see how we put our obsessions in our kids, was nice that her parents realised it and took away the pressure from her❤

Now I'm 66 and loving my age ,even though I'm disabled and elderly I still have the happiness of the Gym I struggle with Asthma Respiratory illness. I'm watch movies like this for the determination and motivation to keep going as best I can❤Enjoy❤
This movies reminded me of my friend, we dont talk anymore much because i am into my work and promised myself that i will only talk to her after exams, in my 11th grade she came to our school as our new principal and accidentally we became friends , she taught me so many things about life and understood me . i miss her a lot and thanks to her for coming in my life …
