If this is true storyβ¦ I don't believe this boy is smartβ¦.. Why he can just go out and run and tell the police all things they've done to himβ¦ Why is he willing to suffer further and loose the chance for higher education..I'm so sorry about those years he suffered with Robinsons family.. However freedom comes at last. Any one would always seek to discover their bloodline.
I read the book and watched the movie. It was very emotional and dramatic. I even have met Steve Pemberton himself. He gave me an autograph and took a selfie with me, too.
So heartbreaking what this precious soul went through. Yet, so inspirational and hopeful. Father in Heaven, please protect all the innocent children that are being abused. Encamp your angels around them, shield them from any further harm. Make a way of escape for them. Bring them to a safe haven. Change the hearts of the abusers. In Jesus' name Amen

Remarkable script. Provisionally abuse is common amongst such circumstances. But Steve defeated his circumstances convincingly.
