Promise, Texas is no place to raise a family. There’s no rain, businesses are failing, and the kids can’t wait to grow up and move away. Some folks say the town is cursed. But just when things are at their darkest, a mysterious boy wanders out of the wilderness with nothing but the clothes on his back and a strange mat tucked under his arm. He has a message for the people of Promise, but they’re slow to listen. They are blind to the similarities between the slow death of the town and their own parched souls. Confronted by their spiritual shortcomings, the town’s indignation turns to outrage. Still, the boy holds true to his message: there is no hope without Christ, and Promise can only be remade through earnest communion with the Father. In the end, with his back against the wall – surrounded by skeptics – the boy is forced to reveal his true identity.

  1. It is such a joy to know that many of you have been blessed by this wonderful movie. We thank God for the producers of this film (Written and directed by Mike Norris)

As a Sri Lankan Tamil church based in Coventry, U.K, we are passionate about praying for a revival in this country and other nations, especially USA.

We are on the 15th day of our 21 days of fasting & prayer. God enabled us to hold virtual prayer meetings every day. Last night, we had a watch night prayer where God moved powerfully.

Moreover, God empowered us to hold morning prayers 6 days a week in small groups (primarily children and young people).

We truly believe God will bring a revival when we unite in prayer & seek His face day & night ( Isaiah 62: 6,7).

Next week, we will be starting a 24 hour prayer chain on Fridays.

Our prayer is that the Holy Spirit will fill you with the spirit of prayer and intercession. Remember that you are chosen for such a time as this (Esther 4:14) and Jesus is counting on you to stand in the gap and intercede for your city and nation.

If you have any prayer needs or want to be part of this prayer movement, please email us at rrmcoventry@outlook.com.

We hope to hear from you.

    God bless you
