I really don't agree with what this man is saying, God gave us Christ when there was no Church or "household of faith", and besides, those that Jesus fed with fish and bread, were not born-again, so if Jesus could feed those who hadn't belong to the "household of faith", why shouldn't we, this is purely an example of someone who's twisting a bible verse, and making it say what he wants it to say… so sad!😩

While I respect the man of God I have to strongly disagree if a teaching goes against the heart of Jesus.

The scriptures say "If your enemy should hunger, feed him; if he should thirst, give him to drink;"

If we are commanded to feed our enemies, how much more then should we feed those who lack and have no one.

For people to get saved and go to heaven they have to see the love of God demonstrated through the church, and to win souls we have to internet with the world outside the walls of the church.

While taking care of the needy within the church is important, it is equally important to reach out to those who have no one. Many of these people have not experienced what it's like to be loved and cared for. They need gospel for their souls and food for their stomach. That is the heart of Jesus. He never came for the righteous but for sinners.

Let's not hinder people's chance at salvation by our selfishness.

Someone begging you in the name of Allah or even Sango or Amadioha doesn't mean you can't give to that person. The Bible says we should love our enemies and pray for those that persecute us.. I agree we should consider the brethren in the faith and make it a priority but that doesn't stop us from giving to beggars irrespective of their religion because while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us and giving to people without bias is showing the true nature of Christ

Jesus Christ told the rich young ruler: Sell your possessions and give to the POOR.

A former muslim was once interviewed and asked what made her give her life to Jesus. She said what drew her to give her life to the Lord

You are using a terrible hermeneutical approach to the passage, with all respect. How does this application play out? We will be never fully meet the needs of every Christian in need, and even if we did there would be a whole new group with a whole new set of needs. So we would never get to the “Muslim on the side of the road” as you put it. Who did just help??? I am waiting???
