As a Wesleyan, I will put in a bit for Idol Killer here. I am finding that High Calvinism brings about an underlying belief that sin is some sort of substance, which can lead to a misconstruction of holiness, sin and the human. If we take that context, the I would completely agree with Warren's arguments against Total Depravity.
If you listen to other videos of his, he does acknowledge the condition of the human being "separate from God" as a natural condition. The more I listen to him, I find that a lot of his contention isn't with the "concept of original sin" but rather how the Calvinists draw it out.
Thanks so much for the engagement, I really do appreciate the time ya'll took in answering some questions. I am very pleased that ya'll considered them even interesting. Thanks also for the charity in reading the questions. I was able to learn from the exchange I think. I don't think I actually caught the whole thing, time flew by, so not even sure how much I missed. I look forward to the next discussion. (liked and subscribed)
@1:15:02 My excellent point on the totally not stupid term of EDD, is expertly avoided saving the whole video from being derailed. That is just excellent hosting topic management right there. š I set that red meat out.. and they just wouldn't take the bait. .. I'll get em-next time.

@22:00 The video starts to get really good.
@42:55 The discussion had fallen off a bit since 22:00.. but it picks up and gets really interesting here again. These guys are on fire.
Oh I thought warren was being interviewed here, oh man.
@43:50 .. these guys are just rapid fire just hitting all the high notes. Like drinking theology from the fire hose. Really on their game.
@55:10 Again, this discussion is just full of highlights!
Hey! Iād love to come on your show!!! Or vise versa! How can I get into contact with you!
Great discussion guys. So glad you interacted so much with mindtrap. These videos are great for unity and peace among us.
Hopefully Warren will listen. Obviously he and us will still disagree with y'all, but at least we can cease being ignorant and misrepresentative.
