This is where he lost me – for God never fails. God's ways are not our ways; His plans fail not. Monroe is good at what he does but don't be fooled, it is the purpose of the Lord that prevails – and the Lord will always prevail. When our plans align with the Lord's purpose, it is then we prosper, even beyond imagination. But we are to always be working on a plan of faith – hence planning is faith. Faith is vast and beyond imagination; a mustard seed can produce a forest. Therefore, we need many and many plans, impossible plans. But a plan must exist outside of thought. It must be written down clearly; for many are the plans in a person's heart – but few are executed. A written plan increases the probability of execution; if planning is faith then executing a plan is the work that solidifies belief. Yes, ‘works’ does not save, but faith without works is dead. And it is crucial that the Spirit of the Lord finds us working on a plan, working in faith, solidifying our belief. For when the Lord finds us working in faith and we are in alignment with God's purpose for our lives, even if unknowingly, then the Lord’s purpose will prevail and do the miraculous and unthinkable on our behalf. Which is why the proverbs highlights that there are many plans but it is the purpose of the Lord that will prevail. God’s plan is His purpose and therefor His plan has not, and will not, fail.
This is the second time I'm hearing Dr. Myles Munroe make a blasphemy comment by saying that God failed. God is perfect and Holy He doesn't ever fail! Adam and Eve failed when they disobeyed God!!
