  1. Isn't it wonderful to have a family that cares soo much about you that when someone hurts you they literally feel hurt in their heart because their whole world falls apart because you are suffering?
Isn't it wonderful that a family cares not only about your physical state but about your emotional and mental state?
I think it's amazing that there are people who actually care and know when something is wrong.
    It's sad when people don't.
Manipulators and abusers are everywhere they know how to gaslight you soo much to the point you don't know your reality and question yourself and question those you love.
So it's important to have people around you to keep you safe and keep you in reality.
I think the part where the other mom said she needs to understand her daughter and that absolutely true!
You need to be on the side of the victim.
You need to be soft and understanding.
You need to hold space for them so they can heal because that is the sensitive delicate intimate place in them.
Thank you lifetime for making this film.
Soo many things where pointed out that people need to understand.
    God bless💟

  2. So my health teacher put this movie on to show toxic relationships and everyone started to roast him and point out everything bad about the relationship. Best health class. XD

  3. Cannot believe Elizabeth's parents just let her leave her own birthday for Mark! My dad would have been like "Umm, NO. You stay for the cake & that's that." Mom would have agreed, but being a little 'wilder'….hmmm…would have said "Right, but Mark can sit and have cake too."

  4. From start to finish, they are still children. And koodos' to her cousin for knowing what's up. I wish I had a cousin like that. If a young man talks to you like that, run for the hills because he's no good and he's too old to change

  5. One parent should never have told a child that their mother doesn't want them at all that's not right that's what happened to somebody else I know he told his daughter that she his mother did her mother did not love her and that was a lie that only makes a child feel unloved and that's not right because if you already know the reason why they left then then why are you telling your own child that they don't love you that's not right and another thing is that the other girl has more sense than this girl because why would you sit here and be with somebody who abused views is you everyday and then lies about it

  6. Marie has clearly never heard of "validation": You can understand and accept someone's feelings without agreeing with them. I've been in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and have been abused myself. Certain parts of this movie triggered an abusive relationship I had from 17 to 18 and if I have children, I hope that this doesn't happen to them.
