i love this movie,,like her and his voice,,,soft music,,,good heart driver and all people in the house had fun,,,very good idea from the film makers show us that older folks have same fillings ,still,like the young ones,,,great,great,great,,,,,
This movie made me cry and it reminded me of the Book. To have a true love is beautiful! I had that but didn't know it fully until many years later. I had the habit of comparing him, Kenny, with the few others that came after him. We weren't perfect, of course, but he had very special qualities, one of which was his faithfulness. And no matter how far apart we were, and the 15 years we were apart, reuniting with him again, was as if I had never left. He died at 39 of cancer. Two years prior, he had asked me to marry him and I turned him down; I wish I hadn't. When I found out he had died, I cried so much. But I know one day, I'll see him again, as he gave his life to Jesus Christ while in the hospital. Love you forever, Kenny.
Have you also seen Joss Ackland in the C W Lewis story?? .. Thru the Shadowlands w Claire Bloom. Please don’t miss it! He’s a giant of an actor .. amazing . I will miss him!! This is a loving story. Jean S you are also a treasure.
It's sad that the producer didn't make a pure nice family movie from this good story. He had to throw in a scene against the 6th commandment glorifying fornication
This is definitely one of the finest movies I've ever seen . I'm 80 years old and I grew up as a teenager in the fifties watching Jean Simmons in numerous movies and I was completely captivated by her beauty! She's even MORE beautiful now in this movie! I was deeply moved. If a person can watch this movie and not get a baseball sized lump in his/her throat at the conclusion that person is not human, or at least is too young to understand what life is all about.
So beautifully done. One of the best love stories I have ever seen. So tender, I could feel the love for each other. I would love to experience a love like that. I have been a widow for 8 years now I'm 69. Yet to love and be loved again is one of the things I want most in life. To find someone that would love like that would be the most amazing experience.

I am 65, he is 70. We have a fantastic sex life. But he is a bully, both physical and emotional. He is gifted and brilliant, and drop dead gorgeous, but I long to regain the peace of my solitude. He is a vulnerable narcissist, and fawns and flatters. Be so careful out there.
God ordains a slow aging process so that we do have plenty of time to turn to him. He desires a relationship with you as He declares in His Holy Word. He has prepared a place in heaven for those who respond to His love.
