  1. So enjoyable for the whole family! So many lessons of kindness, forgiveness, and trusting in God against all odds. I'll remember this phrase: "We don't know what the future holds, but we do know Who holds the future." ♥

  2. 9:38 1 Peter 3:7

    Living Bible

7 You husbands must be careful of your wives, being thoughtful of their needs and honoring them as the weaker sex. Remember that you and your wife are partners in receiving God’s blessings, and if you don’t treat her as you should, your prayers will not get ready answers.

[9:31] They have set up their religious leaders and scholars as lords,* instead of GOD. Others deified the Messiah, son of Mary. They were all commanded to worship only one god. There is no god except He. Be He glorified, high above having any partners.

    Revelation 19:10
    Living Bible

10 Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said, “No! Don’t! For I am a servant of God just as you are, and as your brother Christians are, who testify of their faith in Jesus. Worship God. The purpose of all prophecy and of all I have shown you is to tell about Jesus.”[a]

Revelation 19:10 The purpose of all prophecy . . . is to tell about Jesus, literally, “The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

    Matthew 27:46

About three o’clock, Jesus shouted, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

    Isaiah 42:8

I am the Lord! That is my name, and I will not give my glory to anyone else; I will not share my praise with carved idols.

    Matthew 20:22-28

    Living Bible

22 But Jesus told her, “You don’t know what you are asking!” Then he turned to James and John and asked them, “Are you able to drink from the terrible cup I am about to drink from?”

“Yes,” they replied, “we are able!”

23 “You shall indeed drink from it,” he told them. “But I have no right to say who will sit on the thrones next to mine. Those places are reserved for the persons my Father selects.”

24 The other ten disciples were indignant when they heard what James and John had asked for.

25 But Jesus called them together and said, “Among the heathen, kings are tyrants and each minor official lords it over those beneath him. 26 But among you it is quite different. Anyone wanting to be a leader among you must be your servant. 27 And if you want to be right at the top, you must serve like a slave. 28 Your attitude[a] must be like my own, for I, the Messiah, did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give my life as a ransom for many.”

  3. 1:05:05 Matthew 15:24
    Living Bible

24 Then he said to the woman, “I was sent to help the Jews—the lost sheep of Israel—not the Gentiles.”

    John 18:36 Living Bible

36 Then Jesus answered, “I am not an earthly king. If I were, my followers would have fought when I was arrested by the Jewish leaders. But my Kingdom is not of the world.”

    Romans 11:24-26

    Living Bible

24 For if God was willing to take you who were so far away from him—being part of a wild olive tree—and graft you into his own good tree—a very unusual thing to do—don’t you see that he will be far more ready to put the Jews back again, who were there in the first place?

25 I want you to know about this truth from God, dear brothers, so that you will not feel proud and start bragging. Yes, it is true that some of the Jews have set themselves against the Gospel now, but this will last only until all of you Gentiles have come to Christ—those of you who will. 26 And then all Israel will be saved.

Do you remember what the prophets said about this? “There shall come out of Zion a Deliverer, and he shall turn the Jews from all ungodliness.

  4. 2 minutes in and already getting annoyed at the self-absorbed ‘mother’ who doesn’t give a flying eff about her kids happiness on Christmas morning. Doesn’t get more pathetic than a self-pitying ‘mother’. Grow up lady!

  5. 1:06:50 🤣 1 Thessalonians 5:3
    Living Bible

3 When people are saying, “All is well; everything is quiet and peaceful”—then, all of a sudden, disaster will fall upon them as suddenly as a woman’s birth pains begin when her child is born. And these people will not be able to get away anywhere—there will be no place to hide.

  6. 1:11:37 [2:104] O you who believe, do not say, "Raa'ena"* (be our shepherd). Instead, you should say, "Unzurna" (watch over us), and listen. The disbelievers have incurred a painful retribution.

[4:46] Among those who are Jewish, some distort the words beyond the truth, and they say, "We hear, but we disobey," and "Your words are falling on deaf ears," and "Raa'ena* (be our shepherd)," as they twist their tongues to mock the religion. Had they said, "We hear, and we obey," and "We hear you," and "Unzurna (watch over us)," it would have been better for them, and more righteous. Instead, they have incurred condemnation from GOD due to their disbelief. Consequently, the majority of them cannot believe.

  7. John 10:7, 9-10 (Living Bible)

so he explained it to them. “I am the Gate for the sheep,” he said.

    John 10:9-10 Living Bible

9 Yes, I am the Gate. Those who come in by way of the Gate will be saved and will go in and out and find green pastures. 10 The thief’s purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. My purpose is to give life in all its fullness.

  8. Her husband’s dying, her kids are scared and don’t want to lose their father, and her self-absorbed, self-pity is disgusting. Instead of being a strong woman, a supportive wife, and nurturing mother, she is ruining maybe their Last Christmas together. The kids just want to be happy and celebrate the miracle of Christmas, her husband just wants one last, Healthy Christmas to share with his family, and she wallows in self-pity making it all about her. She definitely needs God to hear the prayers of her family.

  9. A beautiful story of always knowing our Father in heaven loves us and will see us through. I pray he sends his son soon, so we can be in heaven forever. No more worries, fears, sadness, loss. ❤
