Catherine Booth was not a feminist. Why would you taint her memory with that appalling label. Feminism is toxic and divisive, Catherine was neither, her preaching was all are equal, Catherine Booth preached equality and as such was an ‘equalist’
Of all the missionaries she was my favorite for I share all the things she was passionate about. at first William was against it that women should be allowed to preach but later he said my best men are woman. Although she was always serious and passionate and found the Lord at an early age, she was able to kneel with somebody in the gutter with understanding as if she was that person and point them to what the Savior can and will do for anybody who would come to Him. Although she was a busy women with a week body she always had a ear and time for her many children.
