Old age is hell but if you want to be happy you have to gather your friends, make a plan through cunning and grit you work around your obstacles and make it happen. True love never dies. Never forget who you are and what you have done in your life. Forgive the young for they know not what they do to the old folks. They will be old one day for payback time.
This movie is so interesting because I just saw my rather young doctor for the second time. The first time, newly arrived at the hospital, she looked like a Sunday school teacher and acted accordingly but this time she acted like she'd painted the town red the night before, with her hair all askew, and I was even less impressed than the first time. I finally convinced her to do a certain test which was essential and had been done for me for the last 10 years by my opthamologist. SHE was supposed to call me with results & she did not call me but I went by records and I got them. I also had the following day the follow-up exam that had been recommended by my previous doctor of the Year prior. The phone rings. I pick up and it was the young Doctor who apparently did not remember who she was and when we last seen each other so she repeated it, I guess to confirm her vague memory that she was who she thought she was -an opthamologist- and that she had seen me the day prior. I confirmed that she was correct hoping that would set her at ease. My results were Sterling which is lucky because you never know and I said it's good we kept on top of this and we have to continue to do so. There was a complete silence. Next year I know she'll not do the test that I need but it's not a problem because I will not be seeing this doctor. Only over My Dead body. I do feel sorry for these young doctors who have been vaxed and boosted up to the wazoo because it's affecting people's mental capabilities and their memories are extremely affected and that would be the case with this young doctor which is quite sad. Add to that an arrogance and a very bad personality and no bedside manner and you've got a failed doctor. This movie confirms me in my belief that I will NOT ever see her again & if no other doctor is available, I'll actually to go to a bigger town where I have choices of other doctors in other hospitals unlike this teeny Central Texas town with one hospital. To make matters worse this young doctor actually dished the doctor of the previous year who'd recommended I redo the visual field test due to having failed it three times on the left eye and she said that's of NO importance. Apparently these new Young doctors aren't even trained in collegiality, and have no respect for previous doctors findings & recommendations. I can understand her dishing me although I think it's reprehensible but for her to do so to a colleague is beyond the pale. This young female doctor is TOAST🤨🤪I shall move on maintaining sovereignty over my Body as guaranteed by the Americasn Constitution 😉
What are newer generations need are real footage and facts in our schools and respect for our elders in our society. This nursing home or retirement facility is fictional. Our servicemen and women are not living like this, except for the "control" aspect. We have innocent legal citizens who have imprisoned here in our own county and treated like political prisoners, for protecting and sharing the TRUTH. Complacency is complicity in the crimes being committed on the here and now!
Beautiful story but typical treatment of old people

Good movie
See Hunting Elephants. Great similar Israeli movie with Patrick Stewart, and of course, see Cocoon.
Also, Australia makes great movies like The Sapphires, The Last Indian, with Sir Anthony Hopkins, and Rabbit Proof Fence
I was a CNA in a Nursing home for 21 years, so I think I will enjoy this movie..& understand what is going on.

Even old retired military may slow down on vulgarity. My husband did
❤
Damn good movie!! ❣❤❣
Old age is poop. Mostly I wish I'd done this or that but watching this was fun.
This one is extra-special! ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

A little slow at the begining
Live and learn!
Do you know as of today there are 38,000
Another movie ruined by garbage they felt they had to throw in. Shut it off around the 15 minute marker.
