it was not at all accurate for being about Amish. once you leave the community you can not come back for a wedding,funeral etc. you are shunned. you think Hallmark could have read up on it even a little bit. and when the young people do their thing in the english world they do not wear the amish clothes and are at home when doing it. shame on you Hallmark
The Amish would not be that friendly with and Englisher outsider. She would never be allowed to wear a prayer kapp. Also the one in the hospital would not have short hair as it is not allowed.

Such a phony story line!. When you leave the Amish community and become part of the "English" the Amish treat you as though you never existed.

The only reason I hung in was Amish. The first part is just too fake. But love the Amish.
