IF I DON’T PRAY, SATAN WILL MAKE A MESS OF ME.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 says “Never stop praying”
This simply means to be in constant communication with God, so that every moment may be as fruitful as possible.
The days are evil, the enemy the devil is on a rampage.
If you only pray in the morning and night, then you have a fundamental problem of understanding what prayer is.
Do you realize that the devil does not sleep, he is active 24/7.
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Now you may ask, how I can pray all through the day? It is a mindset, open up your spiritual portal, to hear the mind of God and decipher when it is required of you to speak to God.
Prayer is communication. It must not always be verbal. With God it can be spiritual, in your mind, even when others are around, you are praying but they cannot hear you.
You must not always have a request to pray. This is why we were given the gift of speaking in tongues. When we speak in tongues we speak Mysteries. The devil is confused each time we speak in tongues.
We must come up to a state of 24/7 prayers, even while sleeping your spirit man is praying.
When prompted to pray don’t joke with it, you may not have another chance to pray.
The enemy is tricky. He makes some believe all is well. I don’t need to pray too much. GRACE is AVAILABLE.
Uhmmm.. I Laugh in Spanish.
Ask those who have ascended heights and all of a sudden they fall massively. That is why you hear FROM GRACE TO GRASS.
Listen, the higher you go the more spiritual power you need from God.
Another dimension of prayer is worship and praise.
When you worship and praise God, you are praying (communicating) with God. The awesome thing about this mode of prayer is that we ask for nothing. We simply give him the only thing he can consume – Worship and Praise.
Please don’t pray with the wrong mindset. Don’t pray with Bitterness, Anger, Jealousy, Recentness, Unforgiveness, Jealousy, Covetousness, Fornication, and Adultery amongst many other TYRE deflators –just like with a car no matter how expensive it is, with a flat tyre you cannot go anywhere.
It is a total waste of energy to pray when we are not in the right standing with God.
John 9:31
“Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.”
Now, every communication is both ways. Never be distracted to ignore the response. Sometimes, we get a Yes, No, Wait, or even Silence.
Every response from God must be treated with equal importance. It must not always be the way we want it.
Please, this is very key.
If you trust God for something and He says to be patient, and you get it by your strength and even give a testimony, later it will backfire. Listen, God cannot be mocked.
Be mindful of What God saying about that situation. Not what your mind is saying. Your mind can be playing tricks on you. Your mind may be remotely controlled by other factors like emotions, persons, kingdoms or altars.
What is God saying? Listen and Align.
On a final note is TOTAL OBEDIENCE.
It makes no sense when we pray and do not walk in TOTAL OBEDIENCE. This is the point where we miss it most times. Trust me, it is not easy walking in Total Obedience. Many times you will appear FOOLISH to others. But, Foolishness in the sight of men is better than showing off your wisdom to God.
Here is the conclusion of the matter:
Ephesians 6
- Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. (take note of the last 2 words, to achieve this you must do everything in the verses below excluding NOTHING)
- Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
- For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
- Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
- Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
- and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In everything, never come to God with a mindset of entitlement for whatever we are or have or become is an ENTITLEMENT OF GRACE.
Why? For by strength shall no man prevail (prove more powerful or superior). 1 Samuel 2:9b
I Pray for us all, that the Spirit of Prayers be made prominent is our everyday lives and every force of the enemy to wage war with our prayer lives be pulled down by the power in the blood of Jesus, Amen.
