Why is it so common for mothers-in-law to disrespect and harass their daughters-in-law in their matrimonial homes? A man is required to LEAVE his mother and Father and CLEAVE unto his wife. Are these mothers aware of this or is this cultural? I personally would not allow any mother-in-law to come to my house to harass and disrespect me. I would DRIVE them out!

I like the comments I am seeing but I will choose another direction to comment on this I hate it when I see the mothers in these movies telling their daughters-in-law to give their sons a child can a woman give herself a child it's by the grace of God we exist and God knows our appointed time to appear on earth he knew us before we were formed. So mums pls stop telling your daughter to give your son a child it's only God alone can do that.
Seeking fertility treatment is not against the Bible though. I just started watching this movie, people need to know it is not bad to seek medical care if there is any delay in getting pregnant.
Hmmmm how can you bring a full grown single man to spend 4 days with just your wife at home,common even as christians we ought to be wise n be knowledgeable….

Linda caused it… Why did she come out of her room to cry on the staircase? Was it not to attract sympathy? Did she forget she had an unbelieving Jacob at home? And she allowed him lead her to her bedroom…

Being too spiritual without wisdom is a very bad thing…Fred lacked spiritual wisdom to that extent that he was blaming the wife…. In the first place it wasn't wise to leave a non believer in his house…if Fred would have acted in wisdom nothing would have happened to his wife …the Bible says Wisdom is the principal, with all thy getting, get understanding…
This is becoming more interesting as I watch the movie am just thinking of what will happen next
