For those who might know better, is this the reflective norm in your society? I ask because this maltreatment of the (usually) daughter-in-law seems to be a theme across many movies I have seen from Nollywood movies. Perhaps someone might enlighten me…Blessings to you all.

Great movie on two levels…on one level, a man standing up for his wife, on a second level, a man setting his wife against his family. He had good intentions but went about it not in the best way. Harmonize both sides
