This brings joy and sadness to me. It so awesome to see this type of music still around. I grew up listening to this music. That’s all my dad listened to and all his mom would play in church, the old gospel hymns. When I listen to this it brings back memories of my dad. I definitely feel closer to him when such music plays. He passed some years ago. This is grassroots southern gospel. You guys have a great sound and do so well at harmonizing. If I hadn’t watched the video I’d say it was an older group of gentlemen singing! Nothing wrong with that at all! I love the fact y’all can sing in the southern gospel style!
Songs like this fill my soul with joy. I lost my leg in a war at a very young age. I had no means of getting income, my wife left me cause I wasn’t able to met up with her needs anymore, things were going bad for me until I met a man of God named Cory Joseph Paul Skype and Facebook. I had conversations with him and after that we being Busi mess like christ like in which I invested one thousand dollars with him . This man was God sent and I will not be where I am if God didn’t send him to me. My story changed from grass to grace, he introduced me to a bitco!n business 3 years ago. Now I own my own small charity where I help christians who are in need of financial help. I see myself doing Gods work and what he wants us to do. I am here to motivate and make you understand that with God nothing is impossible!!
My Aunt Hazel’s favorite hymn—and one of my mine because she was so special to me, and I spent so much time with her and my Uncle Tom (who took me to church all my childhood life)—she used to sing this song every day while cooking, and doing her housework! If I close my eyes, I can hear her singing this song! You guys are so talented…my eyes watered the entire time I listened to your singing…brought back so many wonderful memories—a song I grew up singing and loving (I’m now 72 years old)! I recall this being a song that I learned early on in life. Love your singing! What a blessing this song was to me this evening—I’m only 5 weeks out from emergency open heart surgery — first time I’ve been able to concentrate and even open my iPad since surgery. That DuKane Mic needs a cable to WORK! I have five DuKanes which pre-date Shures by 23 years-mine are all "small head" DuKanes but a friend owns more than a dozen "LARGE HEAD" red fabric DuKanes all in working condition he "loaned" to a local FM radio station for a "live" Big Band Show and received comments for all over the State of OK for the sound quality of the broadcast/webcast. My matched Pair of RCA Model 3's (the old metal "capsule" mics from the late '40's into the 60's) were borrowed by Leon Russel's "Church" Studios MANY times, and by the late Al Clausen's Saddlerock Studios, the latter for "Big Studio Sound" aka: "Grand Ole' Opry" Sound.
