Luvvie Ajayi Jones isn’t afraid to speak her mind or to be the one dissenting voice in a crowd, and neither should you.

  1. most of this seems self-explanatory but you'd be surprised. i just ended a conversation with someone who tried to convince me that people are not obligated to be informed or make a difference in their world. she claimed it's not fair that someone should have to be stressed out over politics when they could instead be doing something they enjoyed.

i hated every minute of that conversation.

but i knew it was important to let her know why that line of thought is so dangerous. i hope her mind was changed.

  2. This is absolutely refreshing and I am so happy I came across this video ! 😍♥️ ! Can’t wait for my feature 🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂 🥰♥️ I WILLLLL align with all that is meant for me 🥰💕

  3. It may be a good presentation, although the tone of the voice louder then needed.

And finally I do not understand why the African Americans are much louder then when I was younger 30 years ago.

    Thank you.

    Christopher…

  4. Sista I'm with you all the way to the unemployment line. It's my husband that I have to think about and how to "make it make sense" 🤔. He and I think so much differently but I understand and respect his stance.

  5. So brave, so young. She speaks up for those who speak too much truth and don't live to tell the tale. Lets assume she has not hit the exact truth yet? But its enough for one person and together the truth will be revealed.

  6. I love this ted talk so much. I can really to living on the other side of fear and being uncomfortable with the adventurous side of life like traveling solo, sky diving, and doing a lot of "anti-me" things but some deeper things still are very uncomfortable on a different level. I am also an earth sign and love my feet on the ground/planted.

I am the type of person to go against the status quo, questioning everything. having a naturally rebellious spirit, speaking up for injustices, etc, but it also is costing me a lot for being this way. Trying to figure the sweet spot or balance of it all is where I am at now. I love rocking the boat and question and challenging the very institutions not designed for folks like me but at the same time like who got me? Whose making sure I'm good.. how can I continue to be all these things but not forget about myself and my well-being and my mental health. I am not going to stop being a disruptor, making sure that there is room for us in that room is important.

  7. you disturb your own peace sometimes by always trying to correct others. not everything needs to be said. Have wise discernment. I used to be this domino 24/7
