  1. These old hymns still carry something special.

So many people have shared stories about grandparents, old churches, Sunday evening services, and the peace these songs once brought into the room. We’re grateful these sounds still mean something to so many hearts ❤

Several listeners asked how they could support the music and help us continue preserving the sound of old worship and old church harmony, so we created a small page for that below.

  2. Lo, I am with you always.

Been a lotta days with a heaping load of trouble and trials
    But through it all
    He's been faithful.

    Lift up your head child
Surely as the storm started, it'll end.
Hold to your faith in HIM and hold on to his mighty hand!!!

They say our God is a myth. An imagining
    But on that day
    Every eye will see him
    Every tongue will confess
Every knee will bow to the King!!!

    Imagine
Facing the hell of this life KNOWING He has said
    It SHALL BE WELL!!!
    I AM WITH YOU
    I AM YOUR STRENGTH
    I AM YOUR HOPE
YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M DOING RIGHT NOW. BUT LATER YOU WILL!!!
and riding those hard days out with confidence in him who we have believed.
And them thinking it's a big old fairy tale!!!!

    Hold on child
    This world ain't long

He who began a good work in you, will finish it.

  3. My mother played for a gospel quartet for many years. She was so talented; played anything by ear. Just tell her what key you want it in and she did it. I miss her. This music reminds me of her. I grew up with Bill and Gloria Gaither music and other greats. I'm so blessed to have been raised by parents who raised us right. Respect, hard work and giving to others. It's so rare these days. Thank you for making this video. Not sure how it landed in my feed, but I am grateful. ❤

  4. I remember Sunday evening “sings” that lent an extra special treat to Sundays…and choir music mornings…and revivals where there was plenty of music. It seems today people are too lazy or busy or even too timid to get up there and just sing their hearts out as the Spirit leads. When was the last time anyone sang like on these videos?

  5. This is so beautiful and peaceful even in this evil world in which we live. When we get home, we'll all sing about love, about peace and happiness, about joy, as we celebrate Jesus forever together! I LOOK FORWARD TO THAT TIME! COME QUICKLY, LORD JESUS!

  6. I am 75 years young and still have tearful thoughts and feelings when I hear these gospel songs. The joy of GOD’s love just fills my heart and my soul to over flowing with every word.

  7. I know exactly what is was like. I grew up in a church that had that kind of music! Much better than the pounding drums and guitars that are used in many churches for the past many years. That is a disgrace, cannot stand that kind of music in church. So I quit going to church!

I LOVE this kind of music!!!

  9. Oh, my word, what a wonderful, meaningful, beautiful song – and those voices! Who are they, and why don’t we hear more of them? THANK YOU for sharing this!

  10. Thank you for these songs that minister to our souls and sprit. The younger people may get much from them if they can switch off from music presented to them today
Which don,t do much for the soul. My opinion only.

  11. As a nearly 70-year-old woman I remember my Momma playing this music as she ironed my family's clothes. I surely miss those days and wish I could just have one more afternoon to share this with her

  12. So beautiful..He promised to never leave us or foresake us, always with us.
He's never been farther from us than a breath. He is one with the Father, loving us and beyond our comprehension. The more we surrendar to Him the more we find peace.

  13. My grandfather wrote gospel music. In an age without tv or even radio, people gathered around the piano. We went to all day singings with dinner on the grounds. He would direct the singing. It’s too bad that he couldn’t do that for a living. I remember when my father retired, he would watch the Gaither Brothers on television.

  14. This has particular meaning for me. My dear wife left my side for glory last year. She walked through her last three weeks knowing that Jesus walked with her. God gave her a special assurance of a vision in the night of a banner on the wall of her hospital room. It read: "O love that will not let me go."

There were moments that were not easy as her lungs filled up with fibrous tissue. But in the last words with her last breath, she spoke faith. "I want to go home to Jesus." And she did. I miss her deeply, but we will be together again one day.

  15. This is so beautiful and yet we never hear them these days. Amazing Grace I did know a version of it; wonderful to hear the hear the full story. Thank you God for not letting go of him and William Wilberforce. Being English/Irish we had great History Teachers then and now I’m 75 and living in South Africa I know how terrible History is taught from what my children told me We were truly blessed.

  16. The love of Jesus how he loves, his life for ours, his mercy and love poured out for us on the cross. Let us love one another as he loves us, Holy Spirit pour out your love into my heart today and out to others. Praise God for the hope we have in him.
