Jonathan Edward’s is one of my favorite preachers aside from Thomas Watson, Matthew Henry and John Calvin. I am currently listening to religious affections on auditable and I have pre-ordered the Jonathan Edwards Bible. Anxiously awaiting August 18 as that’s when Amazon says it will be arriving 😃
Im sorry, I would love a Johnathan Edwards Study Bible, but I never liked KJV curious in any form, date or time. I prefer LSB or NASB (LSB primary). If it was done in LSB, I would definitely jump on that in a heartbeat.
Looks beautiful, I preordered as soon as it was available. I’ve seen some review since then, which have made me even more excited, in my journaling Bible , I have highlighted references to trees, and added many notes about the symbolism of trees.
My only comment thus far on this Bible, graphically, the notes should have been done in a different font to differentiate from the biblical text visually. Small issue.
Bro. 🙂 I don't normally go for study Bibles built around the work of a single person, like the Spurgeon Study Bible, even though there's likely plenty of solid content. I generally prefer study Bibles that draw from a range of scholars. But the Jonathan Edwards Study Bible is really tempting me. Edwards' combination of theological depth, biblical insight, and his emphasis on God's glory and the beauty of divine things makes his perspective particularly appealing to have alongside the biblical text!
Need to order mine soon!
I can’t wait! But, I can only find the basic hardback on Amazon. Are there any other pre-order options available?
Artwork in a bible, you say?

Is it available in the ESV? If not, it’s sadly a no.
are the footnotes mainly direct quotes from him or paraphrases and explanations of what he said?
Your strong recommendation, Pastor Matt, is all I need. I'll get one as soon as it's available. Looks fantastic.

I seriously want this Bible but I wish it was a different translation. NASB or ESV.

Looks like a really great Bible, where can I order a copy online
Much rather have it in KJV; especially given his era.
However, I want one.
Can't wait to get a copy!
