    • @Avoid Hell Seek Jesus who died for our sins it is dogmas like this that causes so many poverty stricken members in the church who as a result develop a mind of complacency because they just do the minimal work and say God will do the rest. Doesn’t the bible also say that He wishes above all things that we would prosper? He is a King and He wants His children to live like they are a member of His royal family but instead we bound ourselves to mediocrity, looking and living worst than non-believers whom we try to convert and say our Father is rich in houses and land. How ironic.

      Please just look into the context that the man is speaking in before you quote a bible verse that may also has several contexts and meanings in it. There is nothing wrong with christians being financially rich, it enables us to bless more people.

      Jesus told us to take up our cross and follow Him. Doesn’t sound much like health and wealth and the sun shining out of your butt now, does it?!

      That does not mean poverty. God will sustain us, it is about an average lifestyle but certainly NOT about getting rich! Because in order to accomplish that you’d have to immerse in the world and its business constantly. And you would have to say and do things that are not in accordance with faith. To put it very kindly.

      If you believe the fairytale that all it takes to get rich is to be clever and hard-working you couldn’t be more mistaken. This pastor is either lying or a blind leading the blind!

      To name Microsoft, McDonalds and the likes as good examples is about the *WORST* thing this preacher could do here. Bill Gates NEVER folled God’s programme. *NEVER* ! Do some research and you will find out that the truth about this man is very unpleasant. And he is just one bad example!

      This video is GROSSLY misleading. This is prosperity gospel and THAT is nothing but deceit! And the statement about Abraham is totally blasphemous. Totally!

    So, a Big “Thanks” for sharing this insightful, timeless and timely principle. As a Christian and a certified life coach, it sads me to know and see how many Christian brothers and sisters suffering and struggling daily with finances, relationship, health and spiritual growth because of traditional preaching/perspective. Tradition, equal conformity and that keeps us away from exercising our God given abilities, talents and opportunities to make bigger impact in our homes, city and country. I have my answer though which is that I first need to develop more skills and income to become a life coach. No one wants to be coached about success or how to make money from someone thats struggling, especially pay for it lol.
