I am so blessed to be going through the book of the prophet Ezekiel, for the fourth or fifth time. I don't recall I read through God's word every year. I'm so very thankful that God opened my eyes that he saved me and that he gave me the knowledge to be able to find this post to be able to listen. To Mr. Scourby as he reads.

Just Ezekiel in itself prove the Jewish people in Israel today are still God's chosen back int their homeland as He promised He would do, and He has blessed them in their land.
FYI. There is no announcement of a new chapter between end of chapter 16 and beginning of chapter 17. Also, verse 24 inadvertently contains the same phrase twice, though not read by the narrator. I appreciate this work being done and listen regularly.

If you think about it, Israel today seems like a fulfillment of Ezekiel chapter 7? Muslims have taken over the holy land, and hold Samaria, Damascus, the temple mount… To this day. They have even defiled God's secret place, and set up abomination in the dome of the rock, in the place where the temple stood.

It is supposed to read “ 24 And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it.”
