Why correct your SON or PASTOR publicly on social media even when he was not against you or the church he pastors but simply spoke the truth. Yet you preach that as a father your sons should correct you privately…. The context of scripture used was physical parents not spiritual parents … so I wonder a lot about what you say. Or maybe only fathers can correct fathers I suppose… ok it makes sense now. No wonder one tall man from auchi said “a father cannot be wrong”….
BRG, why on earth should I a Christian be listening about tithes and its twisting in this new age? An age deemed to be regarded as the end times, which one should be focused on building salvation in Christian through sound preaching and practice, rather than Tithing for a better future?
I’m really disappointed in this age. I’m never a Fan or a Listener to Papa E A Adeboye. From 2020 I saw him giving in to the New World Order brought about by the Pope, and him showing a Magic Wan in his church for prayers 😢
These educated lawyer-pastors in RCCG should be humble and respect Baba. Drop it, otoge. Half philosophy, no theology, part time pastoring training, no apolegetics . I've gone to check the full sermon &, though, he didn't quote all of the scriptures I will be quoting, but he spoke about them, indirectly, & I like how he started:
From the law of first mention (Abraham in Genesis.14: 19 – 20), to double mention (Jacob in Genesis. 28: 22), to multiple mention (in Leviticus. 27: 30) & then to full mention (in Malachi. 3), & touched (verse 9) of the same chapter that talked about the curse of this particular law.
Then touched the effect of Jesus' crucifixion (in Galatians. 3: 13) & how the law of the "Spirit" of life in Christ has set us free (in Romans. 8: 2 & 11) by Redeeming us all from the old law of sin & death & ushered us into the new law of LOVE with a promise; (Jeremiah.31: 31 – 34), on which ALL of the old laws & prophets hangs upon; (LOVE; Matthew 22: 37 – 40)
Now, (Act. 17: 28); in Him, (who is LOVE), we live, we move & have our being, & hence, we give MUCH MORE, generously & cheerfully, out of the abundance of God's promised LOVE (Jeremiah 31: 33) dwelling in our hearts & not of a necessity or grudgingly… (2 Corinthians. 9: 7)
Now, Here is, (& has always been), my conclusion on this subject matter:
Since the first mention (Abraham) & the second mention (Jacob) both tithed based on their personal conviction before it was legalized,
Then, ANYONE is free to continue tithing based on their personal conviction WITHOUT leaving behind the "NEW" cheerful giving, because GIVING is our LOVE-WORK, as CLEARLY stated in 1John 3: 16 – 24 & also, an UPGRADE of the windows of heavens that was promised in (Malachi 3: 10) was promised in (2 corinthians. 9: 8);
"… cheerful giving grant us access to ALL GRACE & ALL SUFFICIENCY in ALL THINGS with ABUNDANCE of GOOD WORKS."
Mike Bamiloye is a hypocrite. He was fast to label Damina as a false teacher, listing his heretic doctrines, but he kept mute when Baba Adeboye said, "no tithe, no heaven". Now he is back again speaking. God hates hypocricy.
That sermon the rccg pastor who supports tithing preached is truth EXCEPT SOME of their own pastors and GO’s etc do NOT practice what they preach: parading their lavish lifestyles and many possessions and ignoring the poor and not giving public account of HOW they use the money wisely and some of them not working hard and well to teach and preach and do pastoral work truthfully but collect collect collect is some reason why church members get discouraged from donating. May God have mercy on us all.
Why should someone God beyond 10% if tithing means a 10th? Why these pastors still trying their best and don't want to believe a simple truth…. now they are asking people to pay more than 10% ….pity
In all situations but most importantly when a person or spirit is claiming to speak for God. Christians are to be discerning hearers and readers of all messages. The reason for the admonition to “test the spirits” or “test all things” is that there are “many false prophets” or “wolves in sheep’s clothing” that try to lead Christians astray. When a preacher and a prominent MOG boldy declare that if you don't pay tithe you are going to hell full stop, ignoring all other things and even the blood christ. He is speaking carnally and surprising how we don't see through this charade. Time will tell
We've just seen how watching or listening to edited clips on social media can be misleading. Probably if Baba listened to the whole message of the young RCCG Pastor, he might have not criticized the young pastor. The young pastor technically said the same thing Baba said. The young pastor was being honest.
This chap should just pls minister to himself and stop confusing people with his pontification, leave pastors to God and let him judge them, afterall judas pretty much said the same thing "why is this perfume not sold and given to the poor" he said so not bcos he cares for the needy. Most of the apostles in nigeria are not anything like the apostles or disciples or Jesus in the bible. What has science got to do with spiritual matters? No one can be right and wrong at the same. What is tithe for beginners? Where is it written in the bible? What's with him threatening anyone that publicly corrects him. How can we secretly correct him when he's unreachable. In rccg, tithes are forcefully taken from their staff. The staff are not allowed to pay their tithes on their own accord or voluntarily. The tithe is deducted from their salary before payment is made. This is something the church needs to address. Some other pentecostal churches do same too. If they say people should pay tithe, shouldn't it be a willing thing or should it be force?
From what I read personally from the Bible, I have not seen any place where Jesus or the early say condemned tithes. Jesus only says we should pay attention to the major things such justice, righteousness, and NOT LEAVE OTHERS UNDONE. What are the things God said we should not leave undone. Check your Bible tithes were among these other things. So it's a matter of reading the Bible by yourself. I pay tithes out of conviction and i have personally experienced God's blessings.I give my first salary at the beginning of the year.I still give offerings and other contributions in the church.I give out of conviction.Christians read the Word of God and allow the Holy to guide you.I am neither a Pastor nor a student of theology,just an ordinary Christian who desires to pease the Lord.
Notice some thing' whenever these pastors are talking about Tithe, you never see them quoting from the bible, about how its all started, and what is the meaning of tithing? why do we pay tithe? instead all you hear them say, is that when you pay your tithe, you will become prosper, these men are manipulators, because they know that in bible' the major aim of tithe, is to help the poor, and the needy, not to be used to by jet, cars and properties all over the place, from what i have notice about these pastors, is that they have abandoned the true message of God, and now doing competition of money among themselves, the competition of who will first become the richest pastor, above the rest, and earn the respect he deserve, with these kind of ideology, they wouldn't mind telling all kinds of lies to get more from the poor' who don't read their bible.
The honest truth is that Papa Pastor Adeboye lacks an understanding of the scripture . He tries to appear humble with mixes of short scriptural stories , most of which😮 are either lies or unverifiable.
