  1. Exactly the message I needed to hear. My greatest struggle is > FOOD < I enjoy all the goodies – pie, ice cream, cookies, chocolate, and on and on. I temper my desire for these by doing KETO. But, I am that pig that – once washed – returns to wallowing in my desires. It is sin. It is "making provision for the flesh." (Romans 13:14) . I am convicted by Philippians 3:18-19 "they are enemies of the cross of Christ; who's end is destruction, WHO'S GOD IS THEIR BELLY . . ." It is exactly the behavior of the Israelites in the wilderness that angered God that prevented them from entering the promised land – and be left to die in the wilderness. God forgive me – and give me strength to overcome this flesh and it's desires.

When we know that our eternal state is secure, we obey not out of fear but out of gratitude. Stop terrifying people with the fear of Hell when you should be comforting them with the assurance of Heaven. That's the only way to have a truly changed life.
