I sincerely appreciate your testimony Sir. You are indeed a man of God having gone through all these trials and you are still standing to show your scars. I agree absolutely with your "pentecostal orthodoxy" but your analysis of it, I find a bit offensive because I gave my life to Christ in the Anglican church. I currently serve in a Pentecostal church for over 2 decades now and I find many pentecostals more shallow than born again Christians in orthodox churches. What we basically need in the body of Christ now is a fresh revival.
O LORD of all power and might, we agree as the body of Christ that Your servant’s children will get in touch with him and rekindle their relationship in the name of Jesus.
I’d say the most important thing to reduce divorce is for the people in the relationship to clearly hear from God before getting into a relationship. Premarital counseling and especially communication skills is very important but it should be secondary to hearing the voice of God.
I empathise with the plight of this man of God. But I cannot wrap my head around the fact that he's been able to allow his ex wife keep him from seeing his children for 17yrs. With all the technology available to find them; with all the legal systems available – using his wife as an excuse cannot cut it. The kids may not be wanting anything to do with you as they've grown probably because they feel you didn't fight to be in their lives. Unless I'm missing something or some parts of the message.
